I used to spend hours in @waterstonesmcr when we were on tour. It was one of the places that really inspired me to start writing children’s books and I was on tour with @mcflymusic when I wrote my first book – There’s A Monster In Your Book (on a hotel notepad!).
So, I had a bit of a moment going there on this tour and seeing so many of my books now on those bookshelves. 🥹
Not only that, the stage adaptation – There’s a Monster In Your Show happened to be on tour in Manchester at the same time as McFLY so I went to see it today. I couldn’t have been more proud sitting at the back of the theatre, watching families clapping, singing and dancing along. Absolute magic! Thanks so much to everyone who has read my books and seen this show. It means the world!
