This is the world’s quirkiest museum – a DUNGEON filled with HAIR!😱💇♀️ – @guinnessworldrecords says this!
It’s everywhere. 30 years ago a friend of @chezgalip left her hair as her memory for him and this weird tradition of women all around the world leaving their hair behind began.
And fun fact is that he didn’t even intend for it to become a museum!
And now women from around the world leave their locks behind hoping to win a FREE holiday in the beautiful Cappadocia, where they get to learn pottery from him as well😲
When asked “why only women?” – he first said – “you can start a museum of your own with locks of hair from men 😹”, but then went on to add how pottery was always seen as a mans job in his region and having 3 daughters himself, he wanted to encourage more & more women to take it up!!
