Aakansha Monga Instagram – Today, as I stare at my face on the cover of @forbesindia , I’m filled with a mixture of disbelief, pride, and immense gratitude. (And also some self doubt honestly!)
I’ve sat down to write this caption so many times, each time grappling with imposter syndrome and all the immense love i recieved. But let’s be real—it was never about making it to Forbes. This cover serves as a powerful reminder of a life-altering decision I made 1.5 years ago: to ditch society’s blueprint and chase a life authentic to me, uncertainties and all.
It was a leap into the unknown, driven by my love for travel and a need to challenge the notion that ‘women don’t do this.’
This isn’t just my journey; it’s ours. I owe every bit of this to you, who believe in my stories, my videos, and the authentic life I strive to live. Our community goes beyond travel; we want to live lives hand-carved by us, not designed for us.
Forbes is a big deal, yes, but it’s not the destination—it’s a milestone that celebrates the journey. My biggest gift is the connections I form every time I meet one of you guys when I travel—the stories you share. AAAH 💜💜💜💜
