Definitely one of the cheapest countries I’ve ever been to! There’s so much you can do in so less. Please plan a long trip as Vietnam is huge! We wanted to do some off beat places so only went to Hanoi and not Ho Chi Minh. We went to Hoi An and added Phu Quoc to the list. Which increased our budget. But it was totally worth spending on. Try the website Skyscanner for cheap tickets.
There is no visa on arrival and please do it directly from the govt website which costs about Rs. 2000.
You can find so many beautiful Airbnbs around Rs. 2000 and the hostels are even cheaper.
Vietnam has amazing street food and the cheapest beer in the world. They sell local homemade beer for Rs. 40. Don’t forget to try Pho and Banh Mi
Hiring a cab in the city is just like India. It would be around 100-200. Use the apps mentioned in the video. For scooter they sometimes keep your passport but if you hire through a hotel/ airbnb, they don’t take your passport.
Shopping and everything else is also so reasonable! You would have so much fun. I promise.
