Happy to have been at our sister island Tobago’s second official carnival🥳 I had SO much fun. Carnival time is my favorite time of year and I’m all for having carnival twice as much as we used to!😆 I almost get emotional after carnival because we as people of T&T are truly the happiest people in the world. We parade around all day listening to soca music, dancing in the blazing sun, waving, hugging and high five-ing strangers who become one big happy family on that road!! Sweet T&T I love you so much ❤️. We can show the world how we can live together in harmony and celebrate unity. It is an absolute honour to share our beautiful and unique culture with the world on the Miss World stage. Tobago, see yuh next year! 🥳😎

This certificate means so much more than just a qualification to me. For those who don’t know my story, I struggled with severe depression and anxiety as a teenager for 6 years. I’ve seen and experienced the struggle, the pain, the ugliness, the stigma first hand. Today at 23 years old, I am happy, healthy and now qualified to help others overcome!! Today was an emotional day for me (in the best way possible🥹). Ready to use all this new info to continue my beauty with a purpose project @invisiblescarsproject_mwtt
We all go through struggles in life but it’s what we do about it that matters. I’m so proud to say that I trained alongside so many devoted teachers and educators who also want to support the young ones. Teachers are the true heroes our society needs and I can truly say that T&T is taking the steps in the right direction to become the change that we need in the world today. We are making mental health a priority and it is my honour to be part of that movement. Now… onto the next step; becoming a mental health first aider for adults (excited for tomorrow @kind_tt 💚)

There’s nothing warmer than a grandmother’s hug☺️. It was a task to keep this surprise hidden from everyone but I made it to London safely and kept it under wraps🙈. In a time when the world is so divided and shambolic, let’s remember to celebrate the blessing of family, safety and well-being. The surest way to a child’s heart is by spending time with them. When I initially aimed to reopen the homework centre in my home community as part of my @invisiblescarsproject_mwtt project, my focus was wholeheartedly about giving back to the children of our community… however, during this journey, they have given me so much more than what I could have ever asked for. Seeing their smiles when I walk in and getting all their tight hugs always makes me feel so warm and reminds me that I have a purpose here. They’re all my little brothers and sisters and I always want to do more and more for them. That’s why it’s extra special when we get amazing people like @atouch_of_joy on board for these beautiful initiatives! Children deserve to smile every single day❤️

Movie days are a fun and easy way to tap into our mental health and boost our moods. Our goal was to give the kids a chance to just sit back, relax and be a child with no worries☺️. Seeing their excitement was so heartwarming. Of course we took this opportunity to also have a mental health and anti-bullying session to help motivate them through their school term💚
