Armeena Khan Instagram – Motherhood is an incredible gift, and I recently experienced the immense joy it brings. Did you know that every year over 40,000 children in the world are born premature and face the challenge of vision disabilities.My own daughter was born prematurely and is absolutely fine but I have since learned that premature babies are more prone to eye related issues. On World Sight Day, I have taken up the cause of Graham Layton Trust, a charity I have been associated with for a long time. I have made a heartfelt commitment to raise funds that will sponsor free eye restoration surgeries for 200 underprivileged children in Pakistan. It is important to note that an estimated 3 million children of all ages are in need of our support to experience the beauty of the world through restored vision. It costs just £52 to perform a sight restoration surgery, and I’m reaching out for your support to help us reach this target. Every single penny contributes significantly and brings us one step closer to achieving our goal.
