Deepika Venkatachalam Instagram – POV : Our First Diwali as Husband & Wife 🫶🏼 No Grand celebrations, No pattu podavais, No 2000 wala Saram. No Diwali parties but a day full of Gratitude, love and blessings. 🫶🏼💫 From waking up to the sounds of birds to oil baths, pooja, rituals, Amma appa aasirvaatham, oru cute outfit check, our fav veetu breakfast Idly Karikolambu, and car rides with our fav Harris playlist 🎼 the day started with a happy vibe. 😍 When everyone kept asking about our thala Diwali plans, I legit had no idea except one. @raja_vetri_prabhu_ RVP has been my light through the darkness and on this first Diwali of ours, we wanted to be that light for someone else. 🫶🏼 “Avanidame Avanidame enadhu kanavai anuppu” 🥹🎵 Raja has never been used to all these so far, whereas on the other side, I have been part of celebrations like this on festivals. So I made sure, our thala Diwali should be celebrated this way giving Raja a new experience as well. And after a whole beautiful day we spent, when he posted a story yesterday saying “Thanks for showing me the other side of life and making it so worth it” this is what he meant, and we know we did the right thing on the right day! I’ve always been so good with kids but I was a little doubtful whether raja would love this idea or be comfortable around them. 🫂 But seeing him have a great time with these God’s special kids and have a easy and effortless bond with them made me so happy and special that I’ve got a partner who prioritises THIS > over all kinds of celebrations. He once again showed me that I made the right choice by choosing someone who’s going to blindly trust me and our principles forever. >>> After a hearrtful time with the kids and elders we ended our day with a peaceful kovil darshanam, thanking God for everything he’s bestowed upon us along with a kutty car drive and a kutty night walk. 👫 We still can’t believe how beautifully the day unfolded for us, for our first Diwali together.
