Here we go! Last of the three episodes of Season 1. They’re pretty epic. This first one is directed by my new favorite person, @howiedeutch. Written by two other people I really like a lot (lol, sorry) @danielthomsen and @hankjigs. @rodriguezramon acts the shit out of it as does the rest of the cast, many of whom you haven’t met yet.
And a perfect way to end this season — with the green light for Season 2! So tempted to talk a big game rn but… grateful and interested to approach the next chapter of these characters’ lives freshly and exceed the bar we’ve set. Can’t wait to see all my friends again.

Old pic, new thought — alright, here’s an idea that I’ve been wanting to say.
Is there something about your life or yourself that you think people see when they look at you? You think they’re judging you, or comparing you to someone else…? Something you want them not to notice or find out? Maybe somehow they can tell… or they can guess…
They can’t. And if they do already know or if somehow they can tell, it’s not what matters. That is not how they think of you. If that thing is how they categorize you, they’re being lazy or they’re being defensive, so let them deal with themselves.
What they see when they look at you or think of you is whether you treat them with respect. If they’ve seen you smile. If you’ve made them laugh. If you’re willing when you can help. If you give a shit. They don’t know what you think you are too much of or too little of. They don’t know what you think you should have or shouldn’t have.
Who you are is all your best qualities. They’re what’s true. And what fucking matters.
(And sure, if there is something, and IF it’s some thing you actually may be able to change, you can work toward that, on a reasonable timeline. Baby steps can feel amazing when you know they’re in right direction. And if it’s something you actually can’t change, size doesn’t actually matter. I said what I said.)
Here’s what you do if your attention turns in on yourself, look at the other person and look — even if they’re being passive-aggressive — look for what you can admire about them, as an exercise. It gets your attention off of yourself and on to practicing the mindset of seeing the best in others. That doesn’t mean you have to trust them if you don’t feel they deserve that. Don’t override that instinct.
Look for the things that you admire in people. And trust that they’re doing the same.
