I thought it was time to give my jewellery pieces their own place.

50% of profits from this collection will be donated to the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women’s council (NPYWC) – a grassroots organisation led by women’s law, authority and culture, that provides practical support to First Nations folks in Australia’s remote desert communities.
NPY Women’s council is Aṉangu led, and has become a leader in the grassroots provision of human services in the NPY region which spans across the central desert of Australia, through the Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia. NPY is home to 26 communities, and around 6000 Aṉangu people spread across 350 000 square kilometres.
The vast/remote nature of this region creates a unique set of challenges and complexities, including extreme isolation and difficulties accessing appropriate and effective services.
NPYWC uses donations to deliver practical, everyday resources and programs in many vital areas including:
– Aged/disability care: eg- case work, advocacy, specialist equipment, bedding and referrals to access financial assistance.
– Ngangkari (traditional healers) – NPY supports Ngangkari (traditional healers of the NPY region) to continue their work in communities, hospitals and clinics in the region.
– Youth services: eg- family-oriented case management support, and support to access education, training and employment opportunities.
– Child and Family wellness: eg- child nutrition programs with local stores, child protection.
– Domestic and Family Violence service.
