Jessika Evelyn Heiser Instagram – It’s another episode of: showing up when I didn’t want to!
Flew in today to Tulsa, got in a nap, and went to the store and grabbed some groceries for tonight and tomorrow.
I almost just changed into some pjs, ate my dessert, and worked on some client workouts.
The thoughts that went through my mind:
😈 Your body needs a rest, you have a long day tomorrow and brutal workouts planned next week.
😈 You’re sore from Tuesday’s workout you don’t want to over train.
😈 Just get up early tomorrow and work extra hard.
😈 You’re too tired.
But I thought of a few things.
Firstly, I want to be a good example for my clients but also anyone who follows me. If I talk the talk about this stuff I gotta walk the walk.
Secondly, I promised myself I would just do the minimum. I would walk for 30 minutes, get some easy movement in and listen to some coaching education material. I was going to get BETTER by doing just a little and just do SOMETHING.
Thirdly, I wanted to make myself proud and thought about what I would feel like AFTER the workout, especially being able to share it with YOU.
About 10 minutes into the walk, I felt pretty good and ran the last 20 minutes. So we can call this another win because I showed up for me.
