Spending time with my favourites: my favourite hubby 😜, my favourite brothers, my favourite niece besides our sweet 3 yr old niece, Coco and our other favourite niece (who usually would be with us but in CA studying at uni – so proud of her!), my favourite dragon, “Tad Cooper” a la @galavantabc at our favourite, brand spanking new hotel, @hoteldraken (such a stunning hotel where my brother in law is the hotel manager and has done an amazing job). As my dearest father in law, said to me this week: family is everything and the most important. I’m so blessed to have my Swedish family these past, almost 15 years. Here’s to many more years! I’ve had these candelabras (which I got from back home in London) in storage for awhile, and when our remodel was done, I was so excited to be reunited with them again. It’s like seeing an old friend again. 😊 Self care can be so many different things and for us, and one of the ways is spending time and catching up with dearest friends and family. I had fun playing around with different table settings – always learning and trying out new designs and layouts. With the holidays coming up, I’m revisiting childhood ornaments, or decor I’ve collected over the past years, from my work and personal travels from around the globe – so many memories each of them carry that help create sanctuary, a haven, and a happy and loving space in our home. Do you guys have any special pieces that make your heart smile? ❤️
Hubby completely surprised me for our ten year wedding anniversary… took me on a scavenger hunt throughout the house. The care and thought he put in to the surprise and his beautiful card was so lovely and brightened our day, what with the world hurting so deeply right now. Yep… joyful tears.
