Grateful for an amazing last couple of days thanks to @sifu_damien , @emma_khealth & @dandelts for bringing the legendary @dacascosmark to Australia. From growing up watching him in movies like Double Dragon to TV series The Crow where I had (like most women) a huge crush on him because of his strong physical presence (which wasn’t easy to do when you know Brandon Lee was the original movie and was so great in it!) which he still brings in John Wick 3 (for the younger crowd lol) to meeting him the last 2 days and getting to know a bit more about the man behind these amazing characters…well it’s been really inspiring to say the least! Such a down to earth human being, very humble, all about being in the present…with one another…which is what I keep saying too daily as you know…when he smiles, when he looks at you, talks to you, he means it, truly and genuinely…that’s what Life is about. Morning debrief for this legend Andres, @mentaltoughness who finished his 100 mile race (about 166kms for him) after 36hours and a bit, in the cold, stormy, rainy, frozen, foggy, Falls Creek and around! He didn’t stop or sleep for ALL THAT TIME! He was incredible! Truly! He inspired us all! Even the other runners and staff who were helping along the way! Everyone who has met him, said he was always happy and positive, despite the pain in his feet, legs, butt, back and being frozen! Everyone remembered his name as he kept cheering and motivating the other runners to not give up! He barely can walk now due to the pain so he’ll be resting his body for the next few days. But WOW! He left me speechless and in awe! He truly is an amazing soul! I’m so grateful to have been a part of this journey/adventure of his!
