The feed blessed me with this memory. Every time I see you @violadavis you make me want to dig deeper, work harder, ask more questions, find more parallels between me and my character, get even more specific with my choices, do as much homework as I can so that when we are rolling I can live in the moment, as truthfully as possible in the imaginary circumstances of my character’s life. And when I fall short of the greatness, the standard you consistently set, I mourn a little and recommit to the gritty, painful, joyous process of discovery I love because to be an artist is the humblest of callings.
