Parno Mittra Instagram - I have barely ever spoken about this woman whom I call mother.. she isn’t my mother anymore…. It’s usually a battle between a toddler and a teenager. On a good day she ll sing and make jokes.. on a bad day you know how your 5 year olds behave. Her broken femur left her incapacitated …Within 3 months she lost her husband.. she couldn’t even touch him.. the pain… only she knows and has never shared. Few years later in 2016 she lost her eyesight. The woman who could cook up a storm in the kitchen by making 36 dishes for a party once cant recall most things now…. The woman who would come to school to pick me up in her printed chiffons and aviators looking like a hot cake , can barely walk now …but her zest for life keeps me going. Happy Mother’s Day to every mother today. Cheers!
