Times are not always easy, but today was certainly beautiful. These days the condition of my body prevents me from seeing any of you in person, and yet I feel so much love for you and for this world. Not much about the shape of daily life matches what I thought it would..and yet there is so much joy and beauty to be found. I only wish I could share it and connect with you more. I like to believe that one day we will and in the meantime always cheering you on in every way I can. Here’s what I know- That nothing tastes as sweet if we can’t share it. That we can win every game, but the joy will soon fade if others can’t do the same. That we were made for each other & this load should never be borne on its own. I will say that though I try never to get caught up in regret I almost always wish I had been more appreciative and acknowledging of every kindness shown and any love given, I always wish I left another knowing they were more appreciated. “What I regret most in my life are failures of kindness.
