Ruby O. Fee Instagram – During the grueling and beautiful, 28-hour drive to Burning Man, we embarked on an unforgettable journey. From the days of my childhood, where I didn’t just ride in buses but actually lived in one, to the exhilarating adventure of driving a colossal 40 feet long bus for the first time, this road trip with my bestie was nothing short of a journey of self-discovery. Finally, I had the chance to introduce her to the wonder that is Burning Man – a place I’d spoken of with such passion for years. Amidst the vast playa, we crossed paths with incredible souls, each encounter gifting us invaluable life lessons. It was after this incredible journey that an unexpected turn occurred. For the first time in Burning Man’s history, we found ourselves stranded in the desert due to a rainstorm. 😂😅 Our fuel and water supplies ran dry, and our colossal bus began to crumble. It was then, in our moment of Chaos, that we were humbled by the kindness of strangers who not only helped us mend our bus but also warmed our hearts with their generosity.
