Shenaz Treasurywala Instagram – I decided to be fancy and take my family to try the very hip and stylish W Goa this time. Here’s my review and why I feel it’s unique- 1. Location: It’s on top of a hill overlooking the sea in Vagator. 2. Design: Bold colours, lots of modern art. 3. Rooms: Very unusual rooms with chandeliers and bright colours, bathtubs with TVs -reel coming soon 4. Service: Staff is very friendly and they are pretty quick. 5. Atmosphere: Young, modern, cool. 6. Reception area is called The Living Room and is very lively with music and parties and a bar. ( that’s the W brand, their receptions are all like nightclubs and they were especially famous in the early 2000s) 7. Food: Delicious especially the Asian Restaurant -Spice Traders and I loved the Goan Thaali in their coffee shop. ( pls note the thaali is HUGE, 4 people can eat from it :) 8. Their “Rock Pool” is one of the most famous pools in Goa. Unfortunately the Rock Pool isn’t working right now, it will be ready for the season. 9. They have an indoor adults only pool in their spa which is dimly lit with candles all around it. Their spa has a lot of interesting options.
