My mother would have been 94 today.
We all miss her and know that she is “up there” at the great fundraiser in the sky.
This…
All seven focused on one thing.
It’s the Harmonic Convergence!
My TV mom, the great Elaine Stritch, always put the I in Christmas.
Thank you @peterzachari
When I get @hilariabaldwin coffee, I get to kiss her

Part 2
I miss this
Ryan O’Neal made some good films. A few great ones (LOVE STORY, PAPER MOON, THE DRIVER, WHAT’S UP DOC) .
But his greatest film is BARRY LYNDON. Kubrick could have had anyone. But Ryan brought a danger to many of his characters. And Redmond Barry required that, a self-immolating danger that O’Neal specialized in.
A prettier Robert Mitchum. A more brutal Robert Redford.
Rest in Peace the great Ryan O’Neal.
Norman…
Nothing like a bit of holiday cheer with @marcovacchi and @hilariabaldwin at @sorsonyc
It’s gonna be a great Christmas…
Although Norman’s passing was looming for anyone aged 100, his loss is incalculable.
With a legendary brilliance in his creative field, a dogged pursuit of truth and human rights in his political advocacy, and a warmth, wit and generosity to all who served with him on behalf of @peoplefor_ , this is the passing of a true giant in American life. Norman was a real mentor to me which I will never forget.
My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. My love to Lynn.

I’ve never done a “con” before. And contrary to my expectations, the fans who showed up were gracious and complimentary in the extreme.
Thank you to Byron Burton and everyone at @steelcitycomiccon …

This week on Here’s The Thing, melissadderosa was the most powerful unelected person in New York State in her position as Secretary to Governor Andrew Cuomo in 2021. Now, her book, “What’s Left Unsaid: My Life at the Center of Power, Politics & Crisis” reveals her side of the story and includes intimate details of the dramatic events as they unfolded.
She shares an unflinching look at her career, the state’s pandemic response, and the workings of Cuomo’s inner circle as they attempted to navigate the scandal. On today’s episode, we talk about what first attracted her to public service, the effect her career has had on her personal life, and what she believes was a political takedown of her former boss.

This week on Here’s The Thing, in advance of the release of the film “Maestro” – directed by and starring Bradley Cooper – we’re revisiting my interview with two of Leonard Bernstein’s three children, Jamie and Alexander Bernstein.
We talk about about life growing up with the world-famous conductor and composer. While they knew him in the tux and tails, they also knew him as the dad who loved games — he was a killer at anagrams — and was always up for tennis, squash, skiing, or touch football.
