Looking down the street and still nothing. It must be because of the Thanksgiving Day parade that there are no taxis.

Just trying to get a taxi in the city 🚕 🌃
🚨🚨Here is the camera test we did for the curse! I tried my hardest to trick @maceobishop (the cinematographer) he knew non of my movements and had to stick with me. On a 2000 mm lens! This was proof of concept for what I’ll call realism candid camera ha. Also the proof of concept to shoot HD at 3200 iso in the world of 4K. No going back!! Crazy we did this on a weekend while shooting Oppenheimer! EPISODE 3 OUT NOW!!!!!!!🚨🚨
Episode 2 is out…….🌗🔮
Actor and Director Benny Safdie Does It All. Throughout his fifteen-year moviemaking career, director and actor @bowedtie has been drawn to naturalism and first-time performers. Fittingly, his recent collaboration with comedian @nathanfielder (“Nathan for You”) was a perfect match. Benny joins us today to discuss their satirical black comedy series The Curse (9:10), the timely premise that inspired the show (13:35), and Safdie’s history of capturing real-life personalities on film (15:58). Then, he describes his early connection to the 1979 movie Kramer v Kramer (19:00), a New York encounter with photographer Robert Frank (23:18), and how directors Robert Bresson and Frederick Wiseman opened his eyes to the possibilities of street casting (26:05). On the back-half, we dive into Benny’s co-directing work alongside his brother, Josh Safdie (29:55), a heartbreaking scene from their debut feature Daddy Longlegs (34:30), and the projects that followed: Good Time (40:00), Lenny Cooke (42:45), and Uncut Gems (55:00). To close, Safdie talks about why he worked as a boom operator while directing (48:15), his recent pivot to acting (52:35), and his full circle moment of playing a physicist in @oppenheimermovie (1:00:40). Episode 4 is out now streaming or on TV tomorrow night!!!!! This was one of the scariest things to do. Living in New York and having to deal with cockroaches has forced me to develop a deep hatred of insects. In order to win against them I developed a full proof plan to rid my apartment of cockroaches if anybody’s interested, I will put the recipe here.
Not enough water but a nice photo out of it all.
Benny Safdie’s character in #TheCurse wore 25-30 pumps of Michael Jordan cologne. This week on Best Show!
The Curse episode 3 is out now! Run!!!!!!
