There are many layers adding to how F’ed up this entire situation is but one I find particularly disgusting and morally reprehensible is politicians trading in defense stocks.
The people with the power to stop this insanity are making money off of it. Really let that sink in.

Yoooo!!! Only 2 days on @netflix and #Faceoff has already hit number 7 on Netflix’s top 10!! Can we get it to number one!? Go binge it and tell everyone you know to watch it! Renewed interest could lead to new Faceoff!!! I’ve been such a huge fan of the show even before going on it and it was so cool to relive the show and see some seriously amazing artists create incredible things in impossible amounts of time. Just binged season 4 and @wayneandersondesigns @fox_fx_lab and @janthonykosar ya’ll running full body creature suits on application day is both impressive and mind boggling. I was in awe many times with all ya’lls incredible work.
It was an honor to do @jarvis.hammer ‘s makeup for @bouletbrothersdragula here’s a few photos of it in color. I didn’t have a lot of time to prep so I used 3rd degree silicone to create the wound and painted it with @ppipremiereproducts skin illustrators. major shoutout to @cldorson for capturing such a cinematic sequence. She’s an incredible cinematographer so excited for you to see what else she captured this season.

They say American leadership holds the world together, but all I see is them enabling further destruction.

They tell me American leadership is just
They tell me American leadership is righteous.
So why don’t I see American Leadership brokering peace instead of brokering bombs?

Why don’t I see American leadership sitting in mediation between two peoples who have been historically traumatized, and categorically dehumanized.
Why am I watching their unwavering support for a violent solution?
There are no violent solutions.
“There are no red lines” they say
I’d say we’ve already crossed over 8000 innocent red lines and counting….
Is it to distract from their own ineptitude?
The fog of war clouds our vision so that we may not see the horrifying truth of the land we were born in.
The land we were born in has a spirit all its own and it has nothing to do with the violent games of our institutions.
Humanity needs to heal, but for healing to happen we must hold space for each other. We must cultivate understanding through empathy and compassion. We have the capacity to destroy or the capability to save ourselves. We must all come together to resolve this unimaginable unfolding tragedy. We have done it before and we can do it again. I believe in you, I believe in us. Let us come together to create a just and equitable future of progress for all.

Had so much fun making @blameitonkway ‘s Kwayto Halloween costume. This is one of the most fun pieces I’ve done in awhile.
If I’m traumatized just watching the events unfold from my phone, it is truly unimaginable what so many innocent people are suffering through right now. I do not believe them when they say this is the only option. I do not believe that the path we are currently on is the only path.
The world is crying out for a better way.
This is the current incarnation of generational trauma on full graphic display. Fed by economics and the shadow pursuits of imperial dominance.
Our institutions have outgrown us.
They play v1olent games of competition at our expense.
