D-Nice Instagram – After my rap career ended, I was absent from the music industry for nearly a decade. I returned to the scene as a DJ in the early 2000’s. @JermaineDupri was the first artist to hire me to play a private event. He booked me to play the So So Def Christmas party. I remember the feeling of excitement I felt because showed me so much love and I didn’t know him like that. Now, I consider him family.
