Afternoon today the lull before the storm! I remember as a Kid being so excited I was not allowed to raid the fridge and I was always looking for presents. When I was in Panto today was always 2 shows and me trying to remember my lines! Adlibbing was always my back up but sometimes watching the other performers corpse up laughing as I had said something wrong or funny it was very entertaining and the audience thought it was part of the show! My office gets 10-20 letters a day but this one touched me Ralph’s family who are desperately appealing for donations, small or large to help fund 3-year-old Ralph’s treatment. Ralph has a rare form of liver #Cancer and is waiting for a multi-organ transplant to cure him of the disease. As we all start to wind down for Xmas it is now I reflect on the last year. It has been a busy year for me Thank God. The work has been varied but people seem to still want to hear the old stories! The British Champions tour all over the UK was great being in the company of Ricky, Joe, & Nigel. The trip to Saudi meeting 50 odd World Champions is a trip I’ll never forget. My role as a proud Dad walking my daughter down the aisle is another of my proud moments. My Grandchildren are growing bigger, and Grandad is struggling to keep up with them running around. My charity has gone from Strength to Strength yes we have had a few stresses but in this climate who hasn’t? I would like to think I have ruffled a few feathers concerning Mental Health awareness. Last week’s meeting with the Minister of Mental Health certainly has drawn awareness to what we as a charity do and perhaps what the decision makers and holders of the Financial purse strings must do to try and fight/combat the issues surrounding Mental Health not only for the sufferer’s but the carers too. I am indebted to the public who still want to buy tickets to come and see me all over the UK. Our mail bag from social media emails, messages and letters just is growing weekly and I really appreciate the time people spend sending me their notes. Those people who have spent money each year on my books and memorabilia just grows. My office is now looking at some different ideas to carry on the Bruno brand look out for some new products!! At this point I need to say a big thank you to the Frank Bruno bookers & promoters who continually book me and already 2024 is looking healthy. Finally can I say thank you to you yes you for supporting me and wish you whatever your circumstances seasonal greetings. For some it won’t be an enjoyable Xmas.
