Back to the cold after a few days in the sun for my birthday. Big thanks for the generous hospitality given to us by @wyndhamcostadelsol . It was the ideal location for us all and the hot tub in our garden was a massive hit! I reckon we got the last bit of warm weather so feeling blessed.

For the Firestarters amongst you; I was kindly given some new type of logs to try out from @lektowoodfuels with my wood-burners at home. The night brickets are a good idea for those wanting a nights fire to stay lit until morning but not really relevant to me, although I did like the fact I could light a fire in the morning and pop out and do a few jobs without dashing back in to check it’s still lit- great for drying laundry and helping us avoid using the tumble drier as much as poss. The kiln dried logs burn well but the hardwood heat logs were something else. Apart from Jess viewing them suspiciously saying it looked like I was burning elephant poo there was no denying the heat they put out straight away- great for heating up a room quickly and then you can go back to normal fuel later. Still awake??! #fire #woodburning #logs #gift
