Justin Welby Instagram – At this time of extreme crisis in the Holy Land, Archbishop Hosam Naoum and I are calling for your prayers and support for the Anglican Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza. Despite the devastating explosion last week, they continue to care for those in urgent need. Please also pray for the Christian ministries working in the Holy Land, helping those affected by the conflict both practically and spiritually. May they be strengthened and allowed the freedom to continue their important work, unimpeded by violence and catastrophe. St Paul teaches us that when one member of the Body of Christ suffers, all parts suffer with it. If you are able, please contribute to our Gaza Appeal. Justin Welby Instagram – In a time of horrific violence across the globe, may we also remember the Kuki-Zo Christians in Manipur, India, who have been under attack since May. Over 140 people have died and thousands more are displaced as hundreds of homes and churches have been destroyed. Last Sunday, the community at St John’s Southall Green gathered to pray for Manipur. I join them in asking God for justice, a lasting peace, and reconciliation in the region and beyond.
