The baby slung his leather satchel over his shoulder and walked away into the violet evening— an impasto of crushed sapphire brushed on by waning light, a projector screen with every input connected, a million ways of seeing all never making contact with the skyness of the sky, and we rushed after the baby, finally catching up to him near his electric convertible. ‘Baby!’ we gasped, ‘show us the way to liberation!’ ‘Goo goo gaa gaa’ said the baby, peeling off to his next adventure.
