34 🎂 ( 0.005~) Hello, after much deliberation and discussion with my team I have decided to be 34 this year. ‘It’s good for optics, baby’ said my agent to a nearby baby. ‘KG was born in 1989, and it’s been 34 years since then, builds trust in the brand.’ ‘Only synchronic identity has value’ said the baby, cleaning a projector lens. I rolled my eyes eyes. Baby talk. ‘You have no notion of psychological continuity, baby!’ snapped my agent, now incensed. ‘A narrative of life helps to gain some purchase on the overwhelming ungraspability of experience, a way to make sense of our journey through time.’ I sighed, waiting for the baby to install my home theatre so I could play PS5. ‘Ah but the act of making sense is in itself a brutal and prescriptive act. The annihilation of the purity of immediacy’ said the baby taking a drag from his pacifier. ‘Shut up, baby’ we said in unison. ‘Getting to say “new year new me” has value whether or not it fits into your unlivable philosophical framework.’ ‘Cowards cannot let go of the comfort of concepts to find the freedom that lies beneath them’ said the baby finally switching on the projector he was installing. A wash of blue filled the room, the stark unyielding synthetic light shining into our eyes a message of terror and yet a demand for action —HDMI input not found. We wept bitterly, for the cable was connected. The baby slung his leather satchel over his shoulder and walked away into the violet evening— an impasto of crushed sapphire brushed on by waning light, a projector screen with every input connected, a million ways of seeing all never making contact with the skyness of the sky, and we rushed after the baby, finally catching up to him near his electric convertible. ‘Baby!’ we gasped, ‘show us the way to liberation!’ ‘Goo goo gaa gaa’ said the baby, peeling off to his next adventure. Then? how r u?

Hei hei 👋🏾 I had the pleasure of acting in a Christmas movie which releases tomorrow on Netflix, wherever you are! It’s called ‘Christmas As Usual’. Please do watch and if you do, watch it in Norwegian subtitles (most of it is in English). God Jul!
