The people of Panamá are calling on the Supreme Court to halt the largest mining operation in Central America, by ruling that the mine owned by Minera Panamá is unconstitutional. The mine endangers the lives and health of local communities and threathenes the survival of wildlife and the health of the ecosystem. Together with local and international organizations we stand in solidarity with the people of Panamá, and urge the Supreme Court to reject Central America’s largest open-pit copper mine.
