✨KHO GAYE DUMP KAHAN✨ – Netlix’s no screenshot policy really ruining my credit’s aesthetic again. – Screenshot of my 1 second cameo which will be shared widely on family Whatsapp groups claiming I am the main lead. – From hosting the sundowner event which was super chill. – Pic 4 is from the first (of many) workshop with @siddhantchaturvedi and @arjunvarain.singh – Pic 5 was my last day on set – Sid on a comedy stage for the first time at @thatcomedyclub – Stage on set which looks way cooler than stage in life. – Last one is a fun throwback to 15 years ago when me and my college friends randomly landed up as background extras in Luck By Chance 😂 Even though it’s just 4 standup sets in the film, the work behind it was pretty intense and went on for almost 2 years. We went to a therapist to understand how the character would react and talk, which just gave us insane insights. I wrote multiple pages full of jokes along with @pavi212 a lot of which obviously didn’t make it to the cut. We tried some jokes on stage at open mics, and some with the film crew. Siddhant watched a lot of live shows and standup videos, practiced the body language and movements on stage, wrote some of his own jokes and did surprise sets at late night shows. In a year full of alpha-action-boner films, I’m just fortunate enough to have worked on two very warm and lovely slice of life films and learnt so, so much along the way.
