Merry Christmas!
On Tuesday, @devendrabanhart asked me to play a few songs that night at a star studded charity show at the Lodge Room here in Los Angeles. I asked @elianabassist to join me to sing some of our heartbreakers. But when i picked up the guitar to practice, this funny, sad, but NON AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL song started coming to me.
We played a rough version of it that night, and the next day I did an instagram live and played some of it. Will Maxwell @billdank , who works at this great studio in Glendale called Silent Zoo was watching and reached out about working on the track with me. He even sent me a demo of what he was thinking it could sound like. I loved it. The studio wasn’t available so will came over Thursday night and we bashed it out in my garage, just the two of us. A really fun way to end the year! Now playing on my bandcamp / all proceeds go to @doctorswithoutborders
Tim Fest ’24 is SOLD OUT! Regular ticket holders can still upgrade to VIP for priority entry and Meet & Greet Photo. Upgrade via the regular ticket site at the link in bio.
