Tony Hawk Instagram – Back lip with some help from my little friend, 1995. Tried one on a different rail – sans kicker – not long after this and clipped it in the worst way. That’s about the time I realized I should focus more on vert if I want to enjoy skating much longer, even though ramps were scarce and very few cared about us padded dinosaurs. Tomorrow – nearly 30 years later – my final video will be released and it’s entirely on vert.
