Will Poulter Instagram – More than two-thirds of people in the UK say they’re worried about the climate crisis, in a survey by YouGov for Friends of the Earth, and a rising number of people across all generations are suffering from eco-anxiety – feelings of stress and fear about the future of the planet. Given the energy crisis and the rising cost of living, @friends_earth have identified what’s causing the problem, who’s hit hardest and the solutions to lower our heating bills and our emissions that harm our planet. They’re powering a new grassroots movement, bringing together different groups that are united by a common goal – warm homes that don’t cost the earth. Friends of The Earth have also helped educate me on some of the changes I can make, for the sake of the environment in a way that is considerate of how climate change effects people on a global scale and in differing ways.
