As one of those writers and actors who works on several projects a year, but still can’t make the minimum amount to get health insurance, this strike is pretty important to me! But it’s not just about me obviously. It’s about all the creative people who share their gifts and just want to make a living and be fairly compensated and appreciated for their work. #WGAStrong #sagaftra
Image description: Zach, sitting in his wheelchair on a sidewalk in Burbank. he wears a shirt that reads “SOULPANCAKE” and hold a sign. At the top, it says “writers guild of America on strike” and at the bottom, in hand-drawn, colorful letters, it reads “studio greed, is crippling the industry! See?!” And then has an arrow pointing towards Zach in his wheelchair.
Cannot overstate how much I love my new nephew! Thanks @iamcoreyrussell for trusting me to hold your little guy without dropping him.
Sorry, I just got a haircut and I wanted to share my unparalleled handsomeness with you. Carry on!
I have the best mom in the world. She gave me life, endless support, my passion for writing, my silliness, my purpose, my confidence. To even things out, I bought her a margarita at Don Cucos one time! Happy Mother’s Day, mom! I love you.
OK dad, so you didn’t quite make it to 75, but boy did we have a good time while you were here! Happy Birthday! Love you always!
P.S. so far you haven’t missed much. the Flash movie was terrible, even though it was good to see Michael Keaton as Batman again.
Just in time for World CP Day we asked our friend, @zach.anner Zach Anner, to tell us ten more things he wishes people knew about CP! One of the things Zach wants people to know is what exactly causes cerebral palsy. Watch and find out!
We asked @zach.anner if cerebral palsy is something you could catch. Here’s what he had to say (spoiler alert: it’s not).

Living with a disability like Cerebral Palsy can come with added expense. Things like mobility equipment, medication, medical treatments, therapies, and more! Our friend Zach Anner takes a moment to poke fun at some of the expenses of disability. Many of us can relate, do you?
Many people who don’t have CP or another disability may think it’s difficult to talk to or have a conversation with someone who does. But it’s not difficult all all! Most of the time, you communicate just like you would wih any other person. In this video Zach Anner sheds a humorous light on how he feels about the matter.
We know it’s about to get real when Moms start joining the picket line! #wgastrong #sagaftrastrong
We asked Zach Anner why people should care about accessibility, and he let us know that without it, he wouldn’t be able to bring his signature dish to dinner parties.
At first we were a little skeptical, but now we’re just hungry. 🐟
Have you ever been asked if you would or could grow out of cerebral palsy? We asked our friend Zach Anner for his take on answering this question that many of us with CP have heard before.
I call this photo “waiting for Windows to update…”
it is vital that we vote in midterm elections, especially when so much is at stake.
Doesn’t it look like I’m wearing a small dog on my head in a purposeful way?
We asked our friend @zach.anner to answer the question of why we should care about accessibility. And of course, he answered in a way that only Zach could. Accessibility opens up the world for people with disabilities, and sends the message that all people are truly wanted and welcome in a space. In 2022, there is no excuse for accessibility to not be widespread and universal.
Because the disability community is so diverse, accessibility looks different for everyone. What does accessibility mean to you? How would you answer the question of why accessibility is so important?
It’s festive here in downtown Burbank. Sorry to the lady who waited for me to take this photo like it was some important thing I was doing, and not just admiring my own face in front of twinkly lights.
Happy holidays from my weird family to yours! And a special shout out to my 90-year-old grandpa, who drove from South Carolina (in one day!) to be with us on Christmas! He wants you all to know that the traffic was a lot better than the last time he came up. So grateful for the time we all have together!
Outside of #sxsw I’ve never had a better communal movie theater experience than #barbenheimer! You owe it to yourself to see these impactful, very different films in theaters with people you love!
Also, @nadscicles knocked the shirts out of the park!
Happy Hot Tub Holidays from my Grandpa and me! #merrychristmas
Everyone needs to ask for help sometimes. Having CP or another disability might mean you have to ask for help doing certain tasks. But asking for help is a normal part of being a human, and nothing to be ashamed of! Here, our friend Zach Anner shares a fun way he would ask a friend for help with folding laundry. Have you ever struggled with asking for help?
Every hour is happy hour when Mom’s visiting Burbankly Hills! Not pictured: @greg.mcgill.39 taking the picture.
Best view of the fireworks in Boston, had that cloud, not rolled in 15 minutes before the show started, making it impossible to see anything at all. But the true joy of Boston is having friends like @thepreparedmind and @ckratl who can turn missing the fireworks into a Fourth of July for the ages! I hope you all have those friends who can turn absolutely anything into an experience you wouldn’t trade for the world. Happy July 5th to all who celebrate!
If you’re going to be at @comic_con in San Diego, this weekend, come check out the secret project I’ve been working on with the fine folks at Wonderstorm!
