Who knew exploring Sri Lanka could be SO MUCH FUN on a tuktuk?
Growing up in India, I think all of us have at some point wanted to ride a rickshaw and so when I got to know that you could actually rent a tuktuk in Sri Lanka I had to do it!!🛺
It was so much fun riding around the streets with the wind in my hair!! Everyone looked at me like wtf is this woman doing riding a tuktuk but I continued zipping around!!🤣 I also crashed it twice btw 🫡 so it wasn’t all rainbows & sunshine 🤣
Renting one in Sri Lanka is easier than you think! Usually it costs around $20-$30 a day, and all you need is your valid driver’s license, passport copy and a passport size picture of you. I rented with @tuktukrental They even have e-tuktuks for rental. They gave me a 2 day driving lesson and also came and@picked it up from a different village. Super smooth!
