In Kerala, every ‘Nanni’ in Malayalam was met with a spark in the locals’ eyes – it was their way of saying, ‘You’re one of us now.’ 😉
language is more than words; it’s an expression of respect and love for the culture I’m exploring. Personally when you speak the local language- you’re speaking to their hearts! It’s about showing up, not just as a traveler, but as someone who genuinely wants to understand and embrace their way of life. 🌍✨
