At our Queensland Pathways State Colleges around the state, students who have struggled in mainstream education are getting that help.
It means more support to complete Year 12 and get on the path to further education, training and employment.
As the students and staff at Coorparoo told me – it works.
That’s why we’re doubling the amount of Colleges from six to twelve.
It’s part of a big package we’re launching to keep young people engaged in education.
It also includes 50 new FlexiSpaces in schools, and more frontline case workers to provide support to those most in need.
It’s an investment in their future – and in Queensland’s too.
