Carson Meyer Instagram – Ringing in 30🥂💍✨

My twenties brought me the greatest blessings. Meeting my soul mate, becoming a mama, finding our home and getting to live each day doing work that fills my heart with so much joy and purpose. Johnathan and I met when I was 22 years old and has been my anchor through every wave and well of inspiration and presence that has made my life a waking dream.

The day before my 30th birthday he took me to the train station of our charming little town and proposed. I’m still in shock that he was able to surprise me. No one can surprise me! (I was wearing Birkenstocks with socks for fuck’s sake!)

I had already decided he had no choice but to spend the rest of his life with me but now it’s official and I can’t wait to celebrate our love and all that we’ve built together.

Right before we left the house Lou pointed to my bare finger and said, “RING”. She almost blew his cover but I take it she approves that mom and dad are getting hitched.
Carson Meyer Instagram – Last week we traveled home to Malibu to visit family and my mom surprised Lou with her very own garden at @onesunfarms where she got to plant fruits and veggies and play with her friends in the biodynamic soil🌻

Growing up I remember my mom keeping seeds in her safe which was symbolic of the value of nutritious food and the potential for growth and repair that Mother Nature affords us. Over the past few years she’s turned her home into a biodynamic farm providing food for her community and healing the soil that was previously neglected and void of life.

There is no greater gift we can give our children than a healthy earth for them to dig their hands into and be fed from. The dirt we’ve been conditioned to fear has healing benefits for the immune system and promotes a diverse microbiome.

This quote from Braiding Sweetgrass sums it up…Thank you mom!

“This is really why I made my daughters learn to garden—so they would always have a mother to love them, long after I am gone“
