Chrissie Swan Instagram – Kelly slid in to my DMs and asked me how to make an omelette so who am I to ignore this plea? No one, that’s who. Please enjoy the next instalment of my vlog era. Mama’s got a new video editing app and she’s not afraid to use it! Also side note – use organic free range eggs if you possibly can for omelettes because they’re the only thing in the meal and the key ingredient has nowhere to hide! They make a huge difference and aren’t that more expensive. Also: butter: Always and forever BUTTER. Happy Egging! @thefrockfarm – this one’s for you! 🍳 (Also: I’m wearing a bumbag in the kitchen because I wear a bumbag every minute of every day and it’s changed my life the end) (And this is a ‘Classic Omelette’ – you can add cheese or whatever you want after you’ve poured the egg in the pan but this is the BASE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD and the method is essential and applicable to all incarnations of omelettes 😊)
Chrissie Swan Instagram – For 3 whole years (2012, 2013 & 2014) we saw each other every single day and made radio. Two women, with 4 tiny little kids between us and the joy of waking up our hometown of Melbourne. It was a dream come true. I was usually covered in baby sick (I had 3 kids under 4 years old!) or had a baby on my actual boob while on air. I would turn up with nesty hair and inside out clothes. Jane always looked like she stepped off the set of Real Housewives. Immaculate. We were, on paper, the oddest couple and yet – we did 2 shows every single day (the breakfast shift THEN straight into a national 3pm show). Suffice to say we worked our guts out day in day out gaining energy solely off the sniff of a coffee cup and the deep support and true love of one another. Day in. Day out. Pure joy. How gorgeous it was to be back in our natural habitat – behind the mic – today on @thechrissieswanshow with my darling @itsjanehall ❤️ Radio is magic. And friends like this are magic. Treasure them 🪄
