Over the weekend I spent some time looking through the new beautiful book on the House of Givenchy.
It gave me a moment to reflect on my time at this extraordinary Maison and take a look back at my own images from my archives and share them over the next week or two.
Hubert de Givenchy was a man of strength and wisdom, and I will be forever grateful to him for his trust and belief in me. At a time when the globalised fashion industry spins faster and more frenetically than ever before, perhaps we should take a moment to remember his graceful vision. As a designer, what does it mean to interpret the language and legacy of Givenchy for a contemporary audience?
For me, the challenge was to look into the heart of the house – and its creator – and in doing so, find the inspiration to move forwards… because in understanding the past, we can shine a light into the future.

After Istanbul the valleys of Cappadocia – what I didn’t do was go in a balloon which is what most people do – what I did do was hike valleys and rocks and discover this incredible place on foot.
1. Gérôme National Park
2. See at the end the most remote cafe I’ve ever been to 3. Fall in the desert
4. Remote refreshments fresh pomegranate juice with a spectacular view
5. @uniqlo :C white shirt with @uniqlo U men’s cargo pants
6/7. Out in the valley
8/9 Room with a view at sunrise
10 The Chimneys
