Hayley Kiyoko Instagram – I am overwhelmed with emotion. This weekend I went to Guadalajara for the first time to celebrate the Spanish release of my book ‘A Las Chicas Les Gustan Las Chicas’ having no idea what to expect. The trip started off at @filguadalajara a book festival with a sold out presentation of 800 people and a signing with almost 500 of you. Then we visited @prepa_22 where I was surprised with this massive mural made by the students. We laughed, we cried. I was met with such beauty, kindness, vulnerability and bravery from so many fans. When some of you had shared that you watched GLG the music video for the first time at 8 years old, my mind was blown. To finally meet you 8 years later, now 16 years old reading the GLG novel…I can’t begin to tell you what it means to me. Being a part of your journey has inspired me to never give up. Ever. This world can be so dark and discouraging, but there is so much light in this world. Every single one of you shine so bright and make me feel so hopeful for our future. Thank you for this boost of encouragement. My dream is to be able to tour Mexico one day and I can’t wait to see you again. I thought I was going to Guadalajara but I was quickly corrected by all of you that it is actually GAYDALAJARA 🌈🇲🇽😘 Te quiero mucho
