And just like that it’s over. 2 years ago I auditioned for the role of ‘Elizabeth Price’ for a show called “Legacy”. (That’s right!) I then got a callback for Lexi! When I got the gig i wasn’t sure I was gonna do it. It meant moving from the coast to joburg for 9 months and I didn’t know if it was a good idea. But we all know how this story goes… 😉 In the first month we went to Limpopo to shoot the first couple eps. Here is where SeanMarco comes in. A wild, crazy, strange dude who intrigued me and made us all laugh the whole trip. We spoke about life, the universe, our passions and purpose. Here I met my best friend. It was also where I fell in love…. With my co-stars!😂 To my Price Family: 🌻Reandi Grey- You became a sister almost immediately. Our scenes together were always the easiest to shoot- we made up most of our dialogue and had fun with every scene 🙈😉 🌻Mama KG- you are the most graceful, soulful human. 9 in 9 out. Yesterday marked nine months since we cut the chord. I feel her starting to become more independent and see herself as separate from her mama. It’s beautiful and sad at the same time. Morning routine 🌞 ☕️ It’s been seven glorious months of breastfeeding… yes I was lucky. No latch problems, no milk supply issues, breast infections or engorgement etc. I have had a great journey feeding Ayla. (P.S She thinks a bottle is a chew toy so she gets her milk straight from the source!!🙈) Lately I’ve been feeling like I needed a supply boost and some milk health and then I found @mrsmilk.co.za I didn’t even know plant based lactation bars existed! And now that I’ve found them I could jump for joy! 🙏🏼 Incredible ingredients, affordable, delicious and just what a Milking Mama needs! Really wish I found them sooner in my journey. Strawberry Kisses! 🍓 I can’t find the time like I did B.C (before child) to cook all my meals and get ALL the goodies and nutrition I did before. Which is why I love to supplement! Im using @blastvitality ‘s Daily Greens, Reds and Protein powders to make my life easier! So here’s my quick recipe using their strawberry flavoured superfood blend! 100% Plant Based Naturally sweetened Delicious! Strawberry Superfood Pancakes: 1Tbsp Coconut oil 1tsp Vanilla Essence Half a lemon juice 2Tbsp Maple Syrup 1 and 1/2 cup Plant Based Milk 1 and 1/4 cup Flour 1Tbsp Baking powder 1/2tsp Salt 1 scoop of Blast Vitality Daily Reds 1/2 cup Fresh strawberries 🍓 Combine first half of ingredients Combine second half Add together Heat skillet- Use tablespoon to drop mixture onto the pan- flip!
