Jezebel Express Instagram – Snapped this last night after teaching a couple of really fun classes 💃, and when I saw it, I thought “Wow… I look more crooked than usual!” I think it’s part the lighting, but also: my face is not symmetrical, and also: most faces are not perfectly symmetrical! I can’t count how many times I’ve told someone they’re gorgeous and they’ve replied “yeah, except for this crooked nose”.
We’re encouraged to nitpick our flaws literally down to the bone, so I just wanted to say into the universe: almost everyone is crooked, it’s fine to be crooked, there is beauty in the crookedness, and we can all feel free to take the take the shape of our muscles and bones off the list of things we criticize about ourselves you look in the mirror. 🪞 | Posted on 04/Nov/2023 12:38:49
