I’ve never been one for New Year’s Resolutions. In 2023 I’m making an exception though, for this blinding gem of wisdom…
Who wants to join me? 🥂❤️❤️❤️❤️
(And thanks for the inspo @strongwomen.vibes)
Who knew these three tiny tearaways would one day transform themselves into the absolute rocks of my life. Particularly over the last year. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Sir Michael Parkinson.
The son of a coal miner, and the father of interviewing…who shone just as brightly as every star he ever interviewed.
What generosity you brought to everything you did – a gentleman in the truest sense of the word.
Such a privilege and an honour to have known you.
Vale Sir Michael. May you rest in sweet and gentle peace.

“I always liked the thought that there were people in the world devoted to making others laugh.” – Barry Humphries.
What a Dame. What a life. What a legacy of laughter. And yet, for all your searing comic genius, it’s your kindness I will always remember.
Vale Barry Humphries. You will be truly missed.

Throwback to the early 2000’s and my days working with this beautiful man, Doug Mulray – comic genius, Sydney FM breakfast radio icon, host of TV’s Beauty & The Beast, and one of the kindest, most generous, gentle souls I’ve ever been lucky enough to work with.
Today we said our goodbyes. Far too soon. All our thoughts and love are with you Miss Lizzie, James, Tom and Rosie.
Vale Uncle Doug. And Godspeed. There will truly never be another like you.🙏🌺

Some days are diamonds…❤️🌞🥂
It’s not the silent killer, it’s the ignored killer. Ovarian cancer is the deadliest female cancer there is and yet, there is still no test. And tragically, many women are already in stage 3 or 4 before they are diagnosed.
Women deserve better.
Women deserve a test.
So, the brilliant team at @camillaandmarc is on a mission to get an early detection test to clinical trials in the next 3 years.
This is where we all come in – you can buy the t-shirt or the sloppy joe (or both!), wear it, gift it (and proudly help spread the word), or simply make a donation…and together we can make this life-changing test a reality.
100% of proceeds from this year’s merchandise is donated directly to Professor Caroline Ford and her team at the UNSW Ovarian Cancer Research Group to get us closer to an early detection test and save women’s lives.
Let’s do this! Tap the link to purchase.

Such a great night attending the opening of the brilliant “Goddess Exhibition” celebrating Power, Glamour and Rebellion at the Australian Centre For Moving Images in Melbourne, launched by the goddess herself, Geena Davis.
The exhibition celebrates the women who have shaped their own roles, taken creative control and fought a system that often tried to exploit them.
Madonna, Cate Blanchett, Sophia Loren, Sarah Snook, Audrey Hepburn, Cher, Nicole Kidman, Elizabeth Taylor, Meryl Streep, Josephine Baker, Mae West, Marilyn Monroe, Geena Davis, Susan Sarandon, Marlene Dietrich, Carey Mulligan, Carole Lombard, Isabella Rossellini, Deborah Mailman, Rachel Griffiths and SO many others feature in this stunning celebration of 120 years of moving image history.
Don’t miss it. And especially don’t miss the “farewell” montage as you leave the exhibition. I tried to capture it here (swipe left), but haven’t even come close to how completely mesmerising – and empowering – it is. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The exhibition is on until October at @acmionline

Opening night of the brilliant Tina Turner musical, TINA, starring the phenomenal @ruva_songbird
I’d forgotten – or perhaps never truly appreciated – that aside from her incredible catalogue of hits, what a triumphant, moving, inspiring story Tina Turner’s life is…with liberal sprinklings of Australian fairy dust throughout. (And I’m talking to all the Sherbet fans from the 70s and 80s in particular here!!😉)
If you’re in Sydney don’t miss it – especially the killer show-stopping finale. You’ll be out of your seat and singing at the top of your lungs!
Bravo Ruva, and the entire cast.
👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
