Lucinda Williams Instagram – ROCK N ROLL HEART.
On one hand this is a fun little song about the power of rock n roll to change a life… but on a deeper level we had recently read an article somewhere that was talking about how so much has changed in the music business. That it’s very hard now for someone to pick up a guitar and lift themselves up by their boot straps -or in this case, guitar strap. Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention that many years ago we saw an interview with Bruce Springsteen, where he said that rock n roll reached down into his house and pulled him out. That’s what music did for Lucinda also. So Bruce, thanks for the line and thanks so much for singin’ on this one -you killed it.
