Michelle Chong Instagram – Love eating with @papachongcooks because he’s as much a foodie as I am (and hopefully he’ll recreate the dishes at home 😝)! Documenting this fab meal at one of my fav restaurants @redhouseseafood. This is their beautiful newly-renovated branch at Clarke Quay. Their Alaskan King Crab steamed with Chinese wine & egg white is so fresh and meaty! Must order their deep-sea Giant Grouper (in double-boiled fish broth 深海龙趸鱼片汤 & stewed in claypot 蒜子豆根焖龙趸头腩) and my all-time fav #paofan 泡饭! Their pulut hitam purple rice 年糕 is such a fantastic idea for CNY!🧧😋
P.S. how many of you can pronounce this Chinese character 趸 without googling?!! 😅 Bet 95% of you got it wrong! 🤪
