Natalia Reyes Instagram – No crecĆ­ en la fe catĆ³lica a pesar de estudiar en un colegio que sĆ­ lo era, la navidad me resulta distante de muchas maneras pero si algo valoro hoy en dĆ­a son los momentos de pausa y reflexiĆ³n, los rituales colectivos que fomentan el encuentro con la familia y los amigos, la celebraciĆ³n de estar vivos y la oportunidad que siempre tenemos de renacer. MĆ”s allĆ” del afĆ”n por consumir y la ansiedad por estrenar hoy celebro que hace mucho un ser naciĆ³ (sea en la ficciĆ³n o en la realidad) para enseƱarnos que no existe un Ćŗnico camino ni UNA fe mĆ”s vĆ”lida que otra, que todas las guerras que emprendan en su nombre no tienen sentido y que la religiĆ³n que tod@s deberĆ­amos profesar deberĆ­a ser la del AMOR šŸ«¶šŸ¼ Un abrazo hasta donde este mensaje los encuentre šŸ™ ā€¢ I didnā€™t grow up in the Catholic faith despite going to a Catholic school, Christmas seems distant to me in many ways but if thereā€™s something I value today it is the moments of pause and reflection, the collective rituals that promote the encounter with the family and friends, the celebration of being alive and the opportunity we always have to be reborn. Beyond the desire to consume and the anxiety of brand new products, today I celebrate that a being was born a long time ago (whether in fiction or in reality) to teach us that thereā€™s no single path or ONE faith more valid than another, that all wars using his name are meaningless and that our religion should be that of LOVE šŸ«¶šŸ¼ A hug all the way to the place you are right now šŸ™ #NataliaFromColombia #FenixBeach #Navidad #christmas
Natalia Reyes Instagram – šŸ’š Isla cumpliĆ³ dos aƱos šŸ„¹ y oficialmente soy un mamĆ” que dice que ā€˜se crecen volandoā€™ y como buena madre tampoco logro estar al dĆ­a con nada y publico todo tarde šŸ¤£ La celebro a ella que es mi regalo mĆ”s grande y mi mayor maestra pero ademĆ”s los invito a que nuestras celebraciones sean mĆ”s conscientes con la tierra šŸŒ: – Se puede celebrar sin plĆ”sticos de un solo uso, no se necesitan desechables ni globos šŸŽˆ hay otras formas de decorar (y son mĆ”s econĆ³micas) šŸŒ· – los regalos no eran necesarios pero en caso de darse pedimos que fueran segundazos, Isla es la reina de las ā€˜herenciasā€™, nos encanta recibir cosas llenas de amor, en los niƱ@s la emociĆ³n con la ropa y juguetes dura poco asĆ­ que mejor rotar y no comprar cosas nuevas ā™»ļø – sin paquetes ni comida ultraprocesada, comida real, local, hecha con amor, sin azĆŗcar y nada de lo anterior significa que no fuera divertido šŸ‰ – con actividades que desarrollen su creatividad, independencia y conexiĆ³n con la naturaleza šŸŒ± šŸŽØ Mejor dicho, menos es mĆ”s, quiĆ©n se une al club? ā€¢ šŸ’š Isla turned two years old šŸ„¹ and Iā€™m officially a mother who says ā€˜they grow up too fastā€™ and as a good mother I also canā€™t keep up with anything and I post everything years later šŸ¤£ I celebrate her, sheā€™s my greatest gift and my greatest teacher but I also invite you to make our celebrations more conscious šŸŒ: – celebrate without single-use plastics, you donā€™t need disposables or balloons šŸŽˆ there are other ways to decorate (and they are cheaper) šŸŒ· – gifts werenā€™t necessary but if they were given we asked that they were secondhand, Isla is the queen of ā€˜inheritancesā€™, we like receiving things full of love, for children the excitement with clothes and toys doesnā€™t last long so itā€™s better to rotate and not buy new things ā™»ļø – no fast or ultra-processed food, only real, local food, made with love, no sugar and none of the above means it wasnā€™t fun šŸ‰ – with activities that develop their creativity, independence and connection with nature šŸŒ± šŸŽØ Better said, less is more, who joins the club? #PlasticFreeLiving #SustainableCelebrations #LessIsMore #MejorSinPlĆ”sticos #PequeƱaGranIsla #SingleUseSucks #BirthdayParty
