Paola Lázaro Instagram – Vulnerable post: I realized that the reason why I put so much work, sweat, anxiety, LOVE, and tears into and for these out of this world characters (uniqueness/superpowers/comedy/powerful vulnerability/pain/strength) is because these EXACT characters were the ones who gave me an ESCAPE from my home as a kid. I have a BEAUTIFUL family with BIG flaws that we didn’t know how to or weren’t equipped to navigate. Flaws that we are still working to navigate and heal EVERY DAY.
