What’s your favourite season of the year? I’ve always anticipated Christmas each year eventhough I’ve almost never got to celebrate it growing up. During my school days, I’ll be working with my family every Christmas selling Christmas stuffs when Orchard Road is closed for countdowns. In my twenties, I was counting down on stage in Hong Kong with thousands of audiences at Canton Road. No matter what I do, there’s always something so magical and beautiful about Christmas. How do you spend your Christmas?

So surreal that it’s over. After months and months of preparation, meetings with the organising committee, made up of women who all have a full time job like myself. Our meetings are usually from 8pm till midnight. It’s been so crazy but it’s all worth it.
We are all volunteers and gave 100% of our raise to Red Cross Young Hearts. They are building communities to support children staying in the rental flats in Singapore.
Given how affluent Singapore is, we must not forget that there are families who do really struggle to make ends meet and are unable support their children to their fullest potential. Giving these children enrichment centres for them to potentially do better at school and one day break the poverty cycle is the reason we worked so hard to raise funds for. Please continue to support them 🙏🏼 @redcrossyouthsg

Enjoying a cozy evening with @uni_newcastle_alumni. While many assume public speaking comes naturally to me because of my past celebrity status, the truth is, I’m not naturally talkative offstage. Every time I step onto the stage, I wonder if anyone will find what I say interesting. @michelleobama , in her book “Becoming,” encourages us to share our stories. It’s only after sharing that people approach me, expressing how my journey inspired them to chase their dreams.
