Rachel Lindsay Instagram – Alzheimer’s is a disease that is incredibly close to my heart, and I am beyond grateful to have co-chaired the Peace of Mind Luncheon on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association alongside one of my dearest friends, @real_maryk8 Throughout my life, I’ve witnessed the profound impact of this disease on my entire family, not only affecting my grandmother and two of my aunts who were diagnosed, but also leaving a lasting mark on our entire family and their support systems. Our Mission through the Alzheimer’s Association is to spread awareness, education, and research, and to provide resources for those battling this heartbreaking disease. Discussing illness is always uncomfortable, but by openly sharing my experiences with this devastating disease, I hope to contribute to changing the stigma associated with it.
