“Kiki” is the last song I wrote before recording “One for Jackie”. I wrote “Kiki” from my mom’s perspective & what I’d imagine she’d say to me if she could speak to me now. Losing my mom unexpectedly didn’t give me a chance to seek closure with her before she passed, but writing this song helped heal the part of me that needed to hear from her. Thank you @tylerchester for having the brilliant idea of asking another artist to sing “Kiki” and thank you @ironandwinetour for generously lending your beautiful voice to this song.
