Dear Mom,
I know this isn’t the birthday we had imagined but I’ll make it up to you. Unfortunately, we are one of many that the system has failed and I will continue to fight the good fight until we’re all home together. Thank you for being the mom that every girl dreams of having. For a lot of people…you only exist in fairytales but for me…YOU’RE my real life angel. You have a heart that is full of love and kindness. Mom. You are magnificent. You are the most beautiful woman I know. Your beauty is so much more than skin deep. You ooze such extravagant love for human kind that it radiates from every part of you. There have been times in life to where I’ve hit rock bottom…and you’ve saved me. Time and time again…you show up. Thank you for being my superhero. Thank you for teaching me love, kindness, grace, and understanding. Oh…and I haven’t quite mastered those things haha I’ll never be you…But I’ll always try to be! Thank you for showing me what a woman of faith looks like…a woman who seeks Jesus even when it’s hard. And lastly…thank you for loving my daddy so deeply and so beautifully. You’ve shown me what it means to be a ONE OF A KIND kinda wife. The love you’ve shown to him has helped to mold the tender love and incredible respect I have for my daddy. There’s no greater than you mama 💕 let’s fight the good fight!
As this holiday weekend rolls around all I feel is grief. In 25 years I have never spent a single holiday without my sweet mama and daddy. Not only is Easter this weekend… but my daddy’s birthday is tomorrow. OH HOW I PRAY FOR TIME TO FLY! Can it be Monday already 😭 When you lose someone special, your world lacks its celebratory qualities. Holidays magnify that loss. The sadness deepens and the loneliness can feel isolating. What I have learned is the need for support may be the greatest during the holidays. Pretending you don’t hurt and/or it isn’t a harder time of the year is just not the truth for you. But you can – and will – get through the holidays. Rather than avoiding the feelings of grief, lean into them. It is not the grief you want to avoid, it is the pain. No one can take that pain away, but grief is not just pain, grief is love. I LOVE YOU MAMA AND DADDY!

HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY to our sweet CoCo! I can’t believe that she is 11 years old! WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!! Watching her grow has been the biggest blessing of my life… she has QUITE the personality! I wish I had her humor. I wish I had her carefree spirit. I wish I had her heart. She is everything that I hope to be one day! There is not a day goes by to where she doesn’t reach me something new. Because of her… we are all better people! I love you sweet girl! KEEP SHINING! NEVER GIVE UP! And ALWAYS KNOW… I AM HERE!

We started off the morning at 6am at the Pancake Pantry (Chloe’s favorite) and she said, “the only thing that would make this better is if mom and dad were here… I can’t wait until I’m 13 or 14 because maybe mom will at least be home.” What a freaking dagger that was… today is so bittersweet… but I have to remember that God has a bigger plan in store for us all!
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all have gotten to spend it with the ones you love…and if you haven’t… just know that I see you. I feel you. I hurt for you… and I love you. As this holiday season kicks off, I can already feel the unbearable pain. Holiday Grief is REAL! I miss my mama and daddy more than anything in this world. If I have learned anything this year, it’s that life is short. This time last year, I was sitting with my sweet mama and daddy…as well as Nic. (We miss you Nic) So LOVE… LOVE HARD! Don’t hold back!

I may be sad… but I’m also unbelievably grateful for the people in these photos (there’s a too many people to count) that have shown up and loved me and my siblings during this last year. If it wasn’t for all of these angels… I don’t know what I would’ve done. Thank you all for teaching me that friends can be our chosen family. Thank you showing up for me when I didn’t have the strength to show up for myself. Thank you for helping me with these gorgeous kiddos! Sure does take a village to raise them. Thank you for loving us…. I will never be able to thank you all enough for the impact that you have had on our lives… but I’ll sure as heck try to for the rest of my life. I love you all! And to my grandparents… thank you for being the rockstars that you are and showing up for me.

THIS IS A RECORDING OF GUARDS AT THE FEDERAL PRISON CAMP IN PENSACOLA FLORIDA WHERE MY DAD IS BEING HELD! If he gets transferred and abused it’s ONLY because we as a family are choosing to stand for what is right and out the abuse and corruption within our system!

I received a recording this week and it’s about an African American man named Paul, who is being housed at FPC PENSACOLA where my dad is. This recording is of multiple correctional officers and one lieutenant named Brundage. Correctional officer Church is the one yelling the profanity! And they are all discussing STEALING a cellphone that they confiscated from an inmate and then (allegedly) SELLING IT! If this Kind of cunduct is allowed to continue then nothing good will ever Change within the BOP. These officers should be terminated and referred to the US ATTORNEYS OFFICE, OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL, OFFICE OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE DIRECTOR OF THE BOP COLLETTE PETERS and REGIONAL DIRECTOR SHANNON PHELPS for Criminal Prosecution. These officers are literally discussing selling phones that they take from inmates so that they can line their own pockets with money.

Here’s a theory: If you Listen to the recording CO CHURCH very well could have placed the phone and set this Guy up. Church Finds more phones than all correctional officers combined. And now we Know why – he is (allegedly) reselling them and his Lieutenant knows about it. #corruption #government #bop

CORRUPTION AT FPC PENSACOLA! I will always expose corruption and injustices. HUGE THANK YOU to the good ones in the system that try to help bring justice.
This “Adult in Custody” (black male) that’s incarcerated at FPC Pensacola has been charged with assault on an officer. You will hear this same officer instruct another officer to hit him so they can blame the “Adult in Custody” this same man exposed other officers of stealing cell phones.
What is Warden Saulsberry, Office of Inspector General, Office of Internal Affairs and Director Colette Peters doing about this?
ALLEGEDLY- This same man asked to have a black staff representative to represent him at his hearing. The unit manager and Warden Saulsberry removed this black staff member because he would NOT LIE and say after reviewing the video footage that this “Adult in Custody” had struck the officer. This representative actually said, “I don’t see what yall are wanting me to see” Help this man from becoming another statistic!! #injustice #abuseofpoweriswrong #bop #prison #inhumane #standup

@thechairman_spj was (allegedly) fired from the wardens office because he tried to inform Saulsberry about the violations of BOP policy and federal law that were purposely being projected against him and my Dad after they voiced their concerns about the CARES Act scandal. But yet, with all the letters, all of the calls, all of the administrative remedies and complaints that have gone unanswered the BOP still does nothing about it, except PLOT TO RETALIATE.
