Current mood post Antarctica crevasse fall.
Excited to make the very most of this one precious life.
Shoutout @itsandrewhorn for gifting me the perfect hat for this moment.
FLASHBACK:
On Christmas Day 2018, Colin set off to cover the last 77 miles of his 1000-mile world-first solo, unsupported, human-powered crossing of the landmass of Antarctica. He did a 33-hour push locked into a flow state and finishing off the 54-day journey to complete the Impossible First.

Look who I found in Punta Arenas, Chile on my way home from Antarctica!!
Polar legend, even greater human: @louisrudd
Captain Lou Rudd is headed down to Antarctica to guide a trip and we both happened to be passing through Punta yesterday.
I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since the two of use were down here going to battle on our solo expeditions. (See pic 2)
Despite the intensity of our “race” I’ve always had the upmost respect for Lou and we’ll forever been bonded by our experience in 2018.
I always enjoy catching up with Captain Lou and hearing about all of the amazing adventures he’s up to with @shackletonofficial
I look forward to the next time our paths cross, Lou.

Huge congratulations to @vincentcolliard for setting the Hercules inlet to South Pole speed record.
It was an incredibly well executed project: passion, grit, dedication, and an amazing support team.
I enjoyed meeting Vincent at Union Glacier this year with his super kind and humble demeanor.
Wishing him all the success in his next adventure.
Also huge congrats to @polarpreet who broke the women’s record this season as well.
I love seeing the bar continued to be raised of what’s possible in Antarctica. 💪💪

No bad weather – just bad gear. You got this!
What’s your blank white canvas?
Rocket Fuel. An access to the spiritual realm… A personal journey.
An excerpt from a podcast episode with @aubreymarcus that just dropped last week. As resonant as ever, as I transition back from Antarctica and continue to reflect on this most recent expedition.
Have you felt that? The feeling of rocket fuel that comes from something much greater and deeper than any food or substance.
FLASHBACK : Part One of food prep and strategy for an Antarctica expedition.
Making some tweaks to the main fuel source I used during 2018 crossing: Colin Bars. This is what I craved most during that expedition. The bars burned so clean in my system and were so easy to eat on the move without having to stop to pull out a stove.
Now, recalculating and adapting : COLIN BARS 2.0
Stay tuned for part two and three!
